Hello from the lab
We make software that works.
AD STEM Lab is a small software laboratory. We build health records systems, children's apps, shops, internal tools, and the next thing we haven't thought of yet. If the problem is interesting and you're nice to work with, say hello.
How we like to work
Figure out the problem. Then build twice as fast.
We take on backends, interfaces, and pipelines for whatever the job needs. We ask what has to stay true, build in small steps, and leave notes so the next person isn't lost. We also use Agentic AI for most of the coding, so you get almost 50% less wait time from idea to working software. You still get senior judgment, with far less calendar burn.
Ship in pieces
You get working increments on your desk sooner. Agents do the heavy typing; we make sure what ships is worth shipping.
Leave it tidy
We leave code and docs that someone else can pick up, ideally without calling us.
Where we have worked
A bit of everything
We've done HIPAA work in health care and COPPA work on kids' apps. We're engineers, not lawyers. We just know how to build so the careful path is the easy one.
We've also built stores, booking flows, and the plumbing behind them. Need commerce? Sure. We'll build one of sorts, and probably a good one.
